About Danielle R. Campbell

Danielle's interest in the human mind began in high school, when she was introduced to sociology, anthropology, and psychology. She further pursued this interest as a Psychology major at York University. While studying, Danielle held jobs that allowed her to hone her interpersonal skills, working with people across multiple generations, ethnicities and differing abilities.

 

After obtaining her Bachelor's degree, she secured a job at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto. At this organization, Danielle contributed to serving the community in an administrative role before operating in outpatient services as an information specialist, where she connected individuals with relevant addiction services.
 

During her tenure at CAMH, Danielle wanted to help patients more directly, which pushed her to pursue a Master's in Counselling Psychology while working. This venture aligned with her desire to address the lack of mental health services catering to the Black community and other minorities. As a Licensed Psychotherapist (qualifying), Danielle is dedicated to continuing her education and development to better support her current and future clients.
